   1. Land Resources

Nature is the home of man that God has given us. Our ancestors lived there for thousands of years and found food, clothing, firewood, materials to build houses, etc. All this because of the exploitation of land resources which are three: plants, animals and minerals.

   2. Plant resources

Men throughout history fed on the harvest of the fruits of the trees. The hunting and fishing were also the basis of their diet. They also used the wood from the trees. From Plant fibers, they did several objects and costumes. Currently they are obtained from nature:

   - Food products: wheat, fruits, legumes, oil, wine, coffee, tea, etc.
The main producers of cereals are: China, India, Brazil, United States and Russia.
The main producers of fruit are: China, India, Brazil, United States and Spain.
Vegetable producers are: China, India, the U.S. and Turkey.

   - Forest products are: fine woods (mahogany, ebony) and construction wood material like cellulose, rubber, cork, resin, etc.
The main rubber producers are: Thailand, United States, Indonesia and China.

   - Textile products are: cotton, linen, hemp, rayon and esparto.
The biggest producers of cotton are: China, U.S., India, Pakistan and Brazil.

   - Precious metals: gold, silver, platinum, diamonds, etc.
The most important gold producers are South Africa, Australia, the U.S. and China.

     8. Environmental Protection

On several occasions the man exploited improperly natural resources harming Nature, today's society and future generations. We emphasize:

   - Plant exploitation, through the devastation of arable land and forests. The vegetation is threatened by air pollution, acid rain and deforestation or forest destruction.

   - Animal exploitation. It is unjustifiable the abusive hunting of animal species. For example, the Spain Ibex is endangered. Many species with precious skin such as minks, ermine, beaver and marten have been killed in the forests of Canada, America and Siberia .

   - Devastating exploitation of minerals. In recent years there has been an abusive exploitation of the reserves of coal, oil and phosphates, seriously jeopardizing their extinction. It was also produced an inconsiderate exploitation of iron.

     9. Conservation of Nature

Currently all men should feel obliged to take care of nature, to love it and respect it. The next generation must inherit a clean and healthy earth preserving all the plant and animal species. This requires taking these actions:

   - Do not throw plastics, cans and other wastes.

   - Avoid fire in places where there is danger of fire.

   - Avoid herbicides that contaminate the soil.

   - Prevent soil erosion.

   - Respect the laws that regulate wood cutting.

   - Collaborate in forest plantations and reforestation.

   - Avoid gases that pollute the atmosphere.

   - Avoid landfill that pollutes the waters.

   - Respect the laws on hunting and fishing.

   - Cooperate in the protection of endangered species.
