 1. Heaven is for those with pure soul

     Saint John explains about his vision of heaven: "I saw a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and tribes, and peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne, and in sight of the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands" (Book of Revelation 7.9).

     People wearing white robes were those who were in God's grace and clean of any sin. Therefore, they received the heaven as prize. As the Gospel says: "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God" (Matthew 5.8).

 2. Heaven is seeing, loving and enjoying God forever

     What is heaven? Saint Paul wrote to the Corinthians: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love him." (Corinthians 2.9). It is something so great that we would never imagine what it is. However, it says something very clear: "We will always be with the Lord" (1 Thessalonians 4:18). We will always be with Christ, our Friend.

     God is the supreme good, the infinite beauty; and the man who craves see wonderful things will be completely enchanted to contemplate God. In addition, we will love him fervently and we will be loved by God forever. The wishes of love of man will be satisfied.

     For these reasons, in heaven, there will be only joy and happiness. There will be no sickness, no pain, no sorrow, on the contrary, we only will enjoy of God in the company of the Virgin, the angels and all the saints. We will be with all those who have been faithful to God.

 3. The final purification or Purgatory

     Those who die in grace and friendship with God, but are not yet completely purified suffer after death a purification to get the holiness necessary to enter into heaven. The Church calls Purgatory to this final purification of the chosen, which is entirely different from the punishment of the damned souls.

 4. We can help souls in purgatory

    God wants that the Church helps the souls in purgatory. As it is said on the communion of saints, we have to help them as follows:

     - Provide as aid the Mass. It is the best way, because we offer for the deceased the infinite merits of Jesus Christ.

     - Pray for the souls in purgatory, seeking the intercession of the Mother of God for them to go to heaven as soon as possible. The Virgin is also Mother of those who are in purgatory and we have to ask for our family and friends and for those souls in oblivion.

     - Offer on their behalf our good works: alms, small mortifications. God accepts all this in the benefit of the souls in purgatory

 5. The existence of hell

     Jesus Christ told us about the existence of hell in many parts of the Gospel. When he reveals the mystery of the final judgment, it is manifested the sentence that the judge will dictate upon the wrongdoers: "Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels." He concludes: "Then they will go away to eternal punishment" (Matthew 25,41.46). Other passages with this teaching are the weeds that will be thrown into the fire (Matthew 13.40 - 42), the bad fish will be thrown away (Matthew 13 47-48), who do not wear wedding vestments will be thrown into outer darkness (Matthew 22:13). the foolish virgins will not enter (Matthew 25: 1-13). the unprofitable servant will be cast out of the lord house. (Luke 16.1-8), etc.

     If we think we will see that hell exists because God is just. He must to reward men who do what is right, and must punish those who do what is wrong.

     In hell, there is no break and the suffering is eternal. The Lord said: "Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire" (Matthew 25:41). The existence of hell and its eternal punishment is a truth of faith that we must believe firmly.

 6. The Hell is for those who die in mortal sin

     At judgement, the Lord condemns the wrongdoers to hell. Who are those that go to hell? Saint Paul lists the works of the flesh: fornication, lust, idolatry, enmity, envy, murders ... and says, "Those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God" (Galatians 5.19-21). In short, those who have the tainted soul by mortal sin when die.

 7. Help other people to gain heaven and avoid hell

     The heaven is definitely the only thing that gives meaning to human life; if it is not reached, it is a disaster. But, as we said, only can enter those who die in God's grace. And perhaps, there are people who do not realize this and live away from God, in serious danger of losing him forever.

     We must do ministry and get all men to be saved. We must pray, offer small mortifications, live well our Christian vocation, tell others of God. God rewards generosity, and we will have the joy of being in heaven with those souls who have helped on earth.

 8. The "Amen", the end of Credo

    The Creed, like the last book of the Bible, ends with the Hebrew word “Amen”, which normally ends prayers. This word belongs to the same root as the word believe, in Hebrew. Thus, the final Amen Creed repeats and confirms its first words "I beleive". Beleive means "Amen" to the words, to the promises, to the commandments of God, it is trust him fully.
