5. The Transfiguration of Christ on Mount Tabor
Jesus was transfigured before his favorite disciples (Peter, James and John) to strengthen their faith. According to the tradition, it happened on Mount Tabor.
6. The triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem
Jesus goes up to Jerusalem willing to die. He knew that there was going to be consummated (by the sacrifice in the cross) the salvation of mankind. The messianic entry into Jerusalem (celebrated on Palm Sunday) manifest the coming of the kingdom that the Messiah (received by children and humble of heart people) will perform with his death and resurrection.
7. From the Cenacle to the Cross
""Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end" (John 13,1). Thus, John introduces the story of the last events in the life of the Lord before he suffers. Actually, these moments reveal how much he suffered and how much he loved us. He sent two disciples to prepare the easter, and Jesus with the disciples gathered in a meeting room historically called as the Cenacle.
Then, he gave a long speech, which serve as a setting to the washing of the feet (an example of humility and service), to the new commandment of love, to the institution of the Eucharist and the priesthood ("Do this in remembrance of me" (John 22:19)), to the promise of the Holy Spirit, to the priestly prayer that open the expectation of the glory of the Cross, where the glory of the Father is restored and the doors of heaven are opened to men.
Considering these events (like Judas' betrayal and Peter's denials), God the Father glorified his Son in the resurrection and ascension into heaven, where is seated at the right hand of God.
