1. The Trinity, the mystery of one God and three different entities  

    We can never understand the mysteries because we are limited. However, we must try to know them better, so that our faith is solid and strong.

    The mystery of the Holy Trinity says that there is one essence and three distinct entities in God: Father, Son and holy Spirit, each of them is God. They are not three gods but one God.

    We can compare this mystery with the sun: the sun is in the sky and produces light and heat; the light and the heat are not different from the sun. The Trinity is something similar: the Son and the Holy Spirit are equal in nature, but they are one God.

    The Father is God, the Son is God, and the Holy Spirit is God. Three entities and one God.

2. Salvation, the work of the Trinity

    The triune God has done all created things. God created the world, although it is attributed to the Father; God accomplished the redemption, even though the Son became man and died on the cross; God sanctifies us, although it is attributed to the Holy Spirit. Hence, when we thank God for all he has done for us, we must give thanks to God the Father, to God the Son and to God the Holy Spirit.

3. Triune's inhabitation

    Although it is not easy to explain, it is truth that the man who lives in grace (no mortal sin) is living temple of the Blessed Trinity (Jhon 14,23). From the baptism, if we do not reject God by mortal sin, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit is in our soul.

    We have God in our lives to sanctify and to help us because he loves us. We can talk to the Trinity, knowing that we are heard and our prayers are answered. we know it because of the faith, altough we do not see it or feel it. When we are in grace, we are the temple of God!

4. We will see the Holy Trinity in the heaven

    Here on earth, we know that God is in our soul and that the Christian life is a struggle to avoid sin. If we are devoted and if we love God more and more, he will grant the greatest thing that we can achieve: to see him face to face. The big prize of heaven is to see God: contemplate, praise, love and enjoy for all eternity of the Blessed Trinity. All the greatness, beauty and goodness is with each of us.

    At Mount Horeb, Moses asked to see the face of God, and the Lord answered him that no man can see him without dying. However, in heaven the soul will be able to see what Moses wanted to see in the earth: the majesty of God.

5. We have to praise the Holy Trinity

    Thanks to the faith we realize that being a Christian is a wonderful thing. God loves us in an amazing way: he has created us for love, he has redeemed us from our sins by dying for us, he lives in our soul and if we are faithful, he will give us the eternal heaven. He has given us the church and the sacraments so that we can easily know what we have do and live as good Christians. We have to compensate this love, and the Christian life must be a continual praise to the Trinity.

    We profess faith in the Trinity when we cross ourselves saying "in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit"; when we pray the "Glory to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit"; when we pray the Gloria Be or the Creed at Mass, and at the end of the Eucharistic Prayer. We seek to pray these prayers and praises with faith and conscience, so that our whole life be a continual praise to God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
