1. The birds
They are vertebrate animals that have wings, beak and body covered with feathers. They fly, although there are flightless species. They reproduce by eggs. The breathing is pulmonary.
We can distinguish these classes of birds:
- Prehensile, like the parrot and cockatoo.
- Creeper, like the cuckoo and woodpecker.
- Predatory, like the eagle and owl .
- Birds, like the goldfinch and canary.
- Fowls such as the chicken and peacock.
- Pigeons, like the turtledove and the domestic pigeon.
- Wading, as the stork and the crane.
- Web-footed, like the duck and the swan.
- Flightless, like the ostrich and rhea.

3. Prehensile birds
They have a curved beak, and a fleshy tongue that allows them to emit sounds similar to the human voice.
For example: the parrot (see the picture), the cockatoo, macaw, parrot and parakeet.

4. Creeper birds
They have strong beak that perforate and drill trees. Their legs have four toes, two toes forward and two toes back.
For example: the woodpecker (see picture) and the cuckoo.

6. Predatory birds
They have strong beak and legs. They feed on dead animals. For example of day predatory birds: the eagle, falcon, hawk, goshawk, vulture and condor. Examples of night predatory birds: owl, little owl and crow.

Birds have small body and usually eat grain or insects. They jump. For example: nightjars, swift, wagtail, sparrow, goldfinch, canary, swallow, nightingale , crow, rook , hoopoe, and hummingbird.

9. Fowls and pigeons
Fowls have short wings and they are unprepared for flying, but they are highly valued for their meat and their eggs. For Examples: chicken (see the picture of the Rooster) , turkey , pheasant , partridge and quail.
Pigeons are very well prepared for the flight and have highly developed instinct of direction. For Example: the domestic pigeon, pigeon and turtledove.

Wading birds have very long legs, neck and beak. They live near ponds and marshes. They eat worms, insects and mollusks.
For example: the crane, stork (see pictures) , Heron and flamenco.
